1. Entry to competitions in this tournament open to any playing member of a golf club affiliated with Golf Australia, or someone that holds a social golf handicap.
2. Players that hold only a social golf handicap must be able to provide evidence of at least 12 rounds played over a 12 month period
3. Players must be an amateur golfer as per the Rules of Golf.

Stoke (Gross and Nett)
1. Event is open to members in the following membership categories:-

Handicaps will be as at the commencement of the 1st round of the Medal Play Championships. Handicaps are determined by the player’s daily handicap (adjusted for Duntryleague slope factor).
The Medal Play Championships will be played over 72 holes on dates nominated by the Match Committee. Grades for each championship are as below:-

a: Division 1 (A Grade) – Handicaps up 7 – as at the commencement of round 1
b: Division 2 (A Reserve Grade) – Handicaps 8-12 – as at the commencement of round 1
c: Division 3 (B Grade) – Handicaps 13-18 – as at the commencement of round 1
d: Division 4 (C Grade) – Handicaps 19-36 – as at the commencement of round 1
2. The winner of each grade will be the lowest gross score returned after 72 holes.
3. In the event whereby tied scores are returned after 72 holes in any grade, to determine a winner, a 3 hole playoff is to be conducted on holes 10, 11 and 12 immediately after the result is known for that grade. The winner will be the player returning the lowest gross score for the 3 holes. In the event scores are still tied after the 3 hole playoff, play will continue from hole 13 and consecutively thereafter until a winner is declared in a “sudden death” format.
4. If a winner cannot be determined from the playoff and play is abandoned due to bad light or adverse weather conditions, the playoff will be reconvened to commence at a time and date suitable for each competitor.
5. In the event where a player may have left the golf course after the final round and is required to play in the playoff, that player is to be contacted by the Match Chairperson and be given a reasonable amount of time to return to the course and prepare for the playoff. However, this time is not to exceed 30 minutes after being notified.
1. Players over the age of 55 years at the date of round 1, and meet the membership eligibility criteria, are eligible to compete for the Senior Champion played in conjunction with the Medal Play Championships.
2. The winner will be the player with the lowest gross score returned after 72 holes.
3. In the event whereby tied scores are returned after 72 holes, a playoff, as for the Medal Play Championship conditions, will apply.
1. Players under the age of 18 years at the date of round 1, and meet the membership eligibility criteria, are eligible to compete for the Junior Champion played in conjunction with the Medal Play Championships.
2. The winner will be the player with the lowest gross score returned after 72 holes.
3. In the event whereby tied scores are returned after 72 holes, a playoff, as for the Medal Play Championship conditions, will apply.
1. If any championship round is suspended due to bad light or adverse weather conditions and there is not enough time for play to be reconvened for all affected players, play for that round will be abandoned and played on the next available Saturday competition date. All scores returned for the abandoned round will be annulled from the championship event.
2. If no suitable date(s) within a reasonable timeframe are available for the full 72 holes to be completed, the Match Committee reserves the right to reduce the Championship to a 54, 36 or 18 hole event.
Motorised carts may be used by any player, in any division and in any round, including any playoff holes.
1. Participants are eligible to win no more than one 72 hole event in either gross or nett handicap event, in any grade.
2. In the event a player is eligible for the senior or junior grade events being held in conjunction as seperate events to the Championship Grade categories, an additional trophy (1) will be awarded in either gross or nett events to the winners of each section.
3. Daily prizes in any round will be awarded to the lowest returned gross and nett score recipients as per normal club competition events.

Handicaps for qualifying rounds will be as at the commencement of the 1st round of the 72 Hole Stroke Championships. Handicaps are determined by the player’s daily handicap (adjusted for Duntryleague slope factor). No handicaps are used for the Match Play Championships.
1. Qualifiers will be seeded based on the lowest gross scores returned from their two best rounds of the 72 Hole Stroke Championships.
2. If necessary, count backs will be based on a player’s last qualifying round.
3. Qualifiers for each division of the Match Play Championships will be contacted by the club, and a draw will also be posted on the club noticeboard and in the Pro Shop.
4. A “reserves list” will be created and used for any players that failed to qualify in the top 16 qualifiers.
5. If a seeded player withdraws from the Match Play Championships in any division AFTER the final draw is published, the next available player from the “reserves list” is to be offered a position in the field of qualifiers for round 1 to take to spot of the seeded player that withdrew.
6. Any reserve player for each division can take a vacated position up until 15 minutes prior to the 1st tee “call” of the 1st elimination round.
7. If all “reserves list” players are unavailable and cannot take up the vacated position by the commencement of round 1, the seeded qualifying player must present to the allocated starter, and
thereafter, will be awarded a forfeit of the match and will proceed to the next round of the championships.
8. It is the players responsibility to check their tee time after the draw is published. The draw will be
displayed on the club noticeboard and in the Pro Shop prior to round 1.
1. The Match Play elimination rounds for all divisions will be conducted over 18 holes and as a single Match Play format.
2. Matches are to be played under an “arrangement” system between both players and may be played on any day, and at any time, up until the close of business on the Sunday of the scheduled week that the round is listed to be completed by. If a match has not been completed by close of business on the Sunday of the scheduled week that the round is listed to be completed by, both players are to contact the Match Committee ASAP and give a reason as to why the match could not be completed. The Match Committee may make a determination on who should forfeit the match and thus, who shall proceed to the next round, or a decision will be made on when the match can be played so a winner can be declared and who will move on to the next round.
3. If a winner can not be determined after 18 holes, the match will continue and additional holes played until a winner is declared. Additional holes to commence from Hole 1.
4. It is the responsibility of the winner of any match to notify the Pro Shop, or the Match Committee, as to the result of the match.
5. Matches are to be played from the “Blue” tee markers. In the event, the “Blue” tee markers are not placed on the teeing area, players are to tee off as close as possible to the blue tee marker plates.
1. The final round of the Match Play Championships will be played on the Sunday (dates determined each year by the Match Committee) of the scheduled “Club Championships” day.
2. All divisions will play a single Match Play format over 36 Holes to determine the winner.
3. If a winner can not be determined after 36 holes, the match will continue and additional holes played until a winner is declared.
4. Tee times allocated by the Match Committee, for each match, are final. Players are to report to the starter and be ready to commence their match at least 15 minutes prior to their allocated tee time.
5. In the event a player has failed to commence the match at the allocated tee time, but arrives within 5 minutes after the allocated tee time, a player will incur a penalty of loss of hole and the match will proceed to the 2nd hole and the offending player will start the 2nd hole, “1 down”.
6. In the event a player has failed to commence the match within 15 minutes of the allocated tee time, that player will be disqualified and the winner declared.
7. Exceptional circumstances may apply if a player is delayed. The Match Committee may accept that an exception circumstance has occurred and that no penalty will be afforded to the player. The match will commence as soon as practicable and a new tee time allocated by the Match Committee. However, the match must commence on the allocated day or a forfeit will be declared and a winner announced.
1. If any match in the elimination rounds is required to be suspended due to bad light or adverse weather conditions, the match may continue at an agreed time and date between the players. However, the match needs to be completed by close of business on the Sunday of the scheduled week that the round is listed to be completed. If a match has not been completed by close of business on the Sunday of the scheduled week that the round is listed to be completed by, both players are to contact the Match Committee ASAP and give a reason as to why the match could not be completed. The Match Committee may make a determination on who should be declared the winner of the match and thus, who shall proceed to the next round, or a decision will be made on when the match will be continued so a winner can be declared and who will move on to the next round.
2. On the day of the “Club Championship Day” (final day) if any match is suspended due to bad light or adverse weather conditions, and there is not enough time for play to reconvene so the match can be completed, matches will re-commence on the following day at 8.00am.
Motorised carts may be used by any player, in any division.
Trophies will be awarded to the winners of each match of the respected divisions.

The Men’s monthly medal is to held on the first available Saturday of the month that does not fall on a public holiday.
The monthly medal is to be played as an 18 hole stroke event.
Handicaps and grades are as per normal club grade outlined in the club competition rules.
The monthly medal competition is played with one winner per division being the best nett score from each grade (A Grade, B Grade and C Grade) of all eligible competitors.
The three monthly medal grade winners will be eligible to compete in the medal of medals event for that year.

4. A minimum of 50 players is required for a monthly medal. In the event that play is abandoned due to poor weather conditions, poor light and / or the course becomes unplayable without adequate time for play to be reconvened, then the monthly medal will be replayed on the next available Saturday.
5. Refer to OGC rules for competitions for various field sizes if less than 50 and less than 20 complete a round on days when play is abandoned.
6. The maximum handicap any competitor may play off on the day will be 36.

2. The event participants will comprise of the Monthly Medal grade winners from each month of the most recent completed full year calendar period. ie possible 36 participants (12x A Grade, 12x B Grade & 12x C Grade winners, minus players that won multiple Monthly Medals the year before)
3. The event will be conducted on the 1st Saturday of February in conjunction with the February Monthly Medal.
4. The event will comprise of medal play format (stroke) with the best returned nett score from the participants being awarded the winner of the Medal of Medals
5. Participants will play from their current daily handicap as of the date of play for the event (not the handicap they had when they won their monthly medal)
6. In the event of a tie, the countback system will come into effect.
7. In the event that the countback system can not decide a winner, a playoff will commence on the next monthly medal to be played. The winner shall be the participant with the lowest returned nett score over 18 holes. If there is still a tie, the countback system again will be used. If still no winner, playoff/counback on the next monthly medal and so on until a winner is declared.
8. In any event where a playoff is to be played, participants will used the handicap they had on the day of the initial Medal of Medal event (1st Saturday in February)
9. Motorised carts are permissible for use by the participants on the day of the event.
10. No additional competitions fee is required by participants for this event.
11. A maximum handicap of 36 will be applied to all participants.
12. This is a Duntryleague Honour Board event and the winner shall have their name added to the board.

1. Dalton & Canobolas Cups will comprise of a single 18 holes medal play (stroke) qualifying round
2. The top (available) 16 qualifiers based on their returned nett score will proceed to the Matchplay rounds.
3. The ‘even’ numbered qualifiers will qualify for the Dalton Cup.
4. The ‘odd’ numbered qualifiers will qualify for the Canobolas Cup
5. The matchplay rounds will be handicap matchplay with each qualifier playing off their handicap for all rounds. The maximum handicap of 36 will apply.
6. The matchplay elimination rounds will be played over 18 holes on an arrangement basis between the participants playing against each other. The round may be played at any time within a 2 week period.
7. The final round of both the Dalton Cup and the Canobolas Cup will be played over 18 holes on an arrangement basis between the participants playing against each other and may be played at any time after the last elimination round has been played in the respective ‘Cups’
8. All matches are to commence from the 1st tee and to be played until there is a result.

The Men’s Foursome’s Championships is a traditional gold leaf annual event, to be eligible to win, entrants must be either a 6 day or 7 day member of Orange Golf Club.
The lowest returned scratched scores will be declared the champions of the event for each division. In the event of ties, standard count back rules apply.
1. Play will be from the members “Blue” Course
2. Rules of Golf apply as per the Rules of Golf by the R&A. Local Rules as displayed on the scorecard/app or on any noticeboard of the club will apply on the day of the event.
3. Teams will nominate which team member will tee off on the ‘odd’ tees and which team member will tee off the ‘even’ tees.
4. In the event of any medal play score returned resulting in a tie, a 3 hole playoff will commence comprising of holes number 10,11 & 12. The lowest accumulated score for these 3 holes will determine the winner. If the accumulated scores are still tied, ‘sudden death’ format is applied from hole number 13 and so on.
5. The lowest returned medal play score for each division will be declared the winner for their respective division.
6. All handicap events will be determined on the lowest returned nett score for the event with the countback system being used if need be.

The men’s Eclectic competition is run in conjunction with the Saturday event from the men’s Blue tee markers. The event is to be conducted over several rounds with the dates set down by the Golf Management Committee (GMC).
The Eclectic score is the lowest score obtained on each hole over the duration of all eclectic rounds. The total nett score for the holes is subject to deduction of half the player’s handicap held on the first day of competition.
The event is open to members in the following membership categories:-
1. a. Full Playing member (male)
b. Six day member (male)
c. Under 30 member (male)
d. Under 23 member (male)
e. Under 18 member (male)
2. Participants must be a current financial member as at the commencement of the all the rounds.

Event is played on a specific shortened course comprising of 18 par 3 holes.
1. Entry is open to all Duntryleague members and visitors that hold an offical Golf Australia (GA) handicap. Social golfers that hold a social golf handicap, must provide evidence that they have completed at least 12 rounds with the past 12 month period.
1. Event is to be played via medal play format from either the “Blue” tees for men or “Red” tees for women.
2. The winner is the best medal play score returned over the 18 holes with additional secondary winners who return the best nett scores.
3. Players will play off their daily handicap, adjusted for the Duntryleague slope factor.
4. The event is to be played on a Sunday, usually during winter, on a date set by the GMC.
5. In the event of ties, the standard Duntryleague countback system will take effect to determine a winner.

The Duntryleague Christmas Cheer Day is run on the final Saturday before Christmas. If the Saturday before Christmas falls on any of the 4 days before the 25th of December, the event will be run on the Saturday prior to that day.
1. Entry is open to full paying Duntryleague members first.
2. Other category members and visitors may reserve their tee time within one week from the event date if any spots are still available.
3. Time sheet reservations are to be made in person at the club from 5pm on the date nominated by the GMC, usually a couple of weeks prior to the event.
4. Cost is $60 per team (of 3 players) payable at time of booking. It is advised that players arrange their groups of 3, or 6 at the time off booking, but not essential.
5. Members are to be financial members at the time of reserving their tee time.
6. The event is a traditional mens only competition. However, women are permitted to play but are restricted to the morning tee times only.
1. Event is to be played as a Texas Shootout, 3 person stableford format. 2x teams of 3 players per tee time.
2. Event is to commence via 2x “shot gun start” time slots at 7.15am and 12.30pm on the nominated date. Teams to assemble by 6.45am and 12pm for their respective tee times.
3. Each player per team plays their own ball from the tee.
4. The team selects the best ball of the team and each team member plays their next shot from that position, placing their ball 30cm from the original ball.
5. Each team member then finishes that hole with their own ball from that position.
6. The team score is the best 2 stableford scores for each hole, added together to get the team total per hole.
7. Each team member is required to select at least 4 tee shots throughout the event. At least one of the four tee shots must be on a Par 3.
8. If you can not beat your playing partners score on a hole, please pick up to speed up play
9. The wining team will be the team with the highest total of points after 18 holes by adding the best 2 stableford scores for each team member together for each hole.
1. Prizes to be awarded in the form of Hams (meat). Please note, the prizes are perishable goods.
2. Prizes to be awarded to a number of teams. Total prizes determined by costs of Hams at the time of the event
3. Due to prizes being perishable goods, at least one member of a winning team must be in attendance at the time of the presentation.
4. If no member of a team in attendance at the presentation, the team with the next best score will receive the prizes.
5. The presentation ceremony will take place directly proceeding the conclusion of the event.

18 holes 4 Ball stroke to be played on Tuesday to qualify.
The best 8 team scores qualify and will be placed in the draw for the match play elimination rounds. If a team has not nominated to play on then the next best team will qualify.
All elimination matches to be played over 18 holes, or continued to a result.
Elimination rounds are to be played on the scheduled Thursday wherever possible. If circumstances arise that a match needs to be rescheduled this must be notified to the match committee and a mutually agreed time arranged for any day except Tuesday competition. If agreement cannot be reached the match must be played on the scheduled Thursday.
Final round to be played on a Thursday as scheduled on the calendar.
Ties will be decided on a count back.
In the case of a sudden illness of a player, bereavement in the family of player concerned, or extenuating circumstance, an alternative date may be decided upon by the Match Committee.
Match Committee reserves the right to make changes to the conditions of play to allow the competition to go ahead.
Dorothy Collins Memorial Trophy awarded to top qualifying pair, on the day of qualifying. This trophy will be presented on the day of qualifying.
This qualifying pair must be continuing on in the 4BBB match play championship.
4BBB Match Play Championship Moira Johnson Salver and Runner Up prizes to be presented on the day of the final round.
All perpetual trophies are to remain in the clubhouse after presentation.

A minimum of 32 players is required for a competition at commencement of 1st qualifying round.
Two qualifying rounds of 18 holes of stroke played on Tuesday and Thursday of the same week, if possible
All play must be off the red tees. This includes qualifying rounds.
Net scores determine the qualifiers.
Ties will be decided on a countback in qualifying rounds.
Top 16 players to qualify for match play and be placed in an elimination draw.
Top qualifier is winner of Rita West Memorial Trophy and must elect to continue on in the match play.
Matches to be played on Thursdays at the given time. Under extenuating circumstances, players may negotiate with match committee and playing partner to play at a different time or day, but must avoid the Tuesday Womens competition and must be completed by the scheduled date on the draw.
All parties must agree for this to happen.
The loser of the first 18 hole match play in Canobolas Cup will then qualify for the Consolation Cup Match Play.
Match play. Three (3) elimination rounds over 18 holes or until there is a winner.
Final round of the Canobolas Cup to be played over 36 holes.
Match play. Two (2) elimination rounds over 18 holes or until there is a winner.
Final round of the Consolation Cup to be played over 18 holes.
Golf Australia handicaps apply. Players remain on same handicap from the first qualifying round and throughout all rounds. If a player’s handicap is greater than 45, they must play off 45.
The Match Committee will take into consideration any special request and reserves the right to alter the abovementioned conditions of play.

Rounds are played both Sundays and Tuesdays over two consecutive weeks. Four rounds in total.

Players must nominate to play all 4 rounds prior to submitting their first-round results. If not nominated it will be assumed that you will not be playing in the four-round championships.
Nominations to play will not be accepted after the end of day round one.
72 hole Stroke play over 4 days.

The Match Committee reserves the right to change the day of play or delay the start after consultation with the greens superintendent or make changes to the conditions of play at any time if deemed necessary.
The Match Committee reserves the right to conduct the championship over 36 or 54 holes under extenuating circumstances.
Rounds 1, 2 & 3 to be computer entries.
The Match Committee will organise the final round draw. Players are unable to select with whom they play.
Final (4th) round – the best 4 scratch scores in each division after round 3 will be seeded to play first followed by the remaining field.
In final (4th) round, players to hit off 1st tee in the order, A grade, B grade, C grade.
The women’s 72 Hole championship will be conducted in three divisions as follows;
All players will remain in their original (starting) grade & handicap throughout the championship.
Scratch winners and runners up in all 3 grades.
Handicap winners and runners up in all 3 grades. Ties will be decided on a countback
Scratch ties will require a playoff over three holes; 10, 11 & 12. If still tied, sudden death will apply. If a winner cannot be determined by a playoff and play is abandoned due to bad light or adverse weather conditions, the playoff will be reconvened at a time/day decided by the match committee. In the event that a player has left the golf course after the final round and is required in a playoff a reasonable amount of time must be allowed for the player to return to the course. The time is not to exceed 30 minutes after being contacted.
One trophy per player except for the Matthew Robinson Trophy (which is awarded to the player with the best total net score across all grades)
All perpetual trophies are to remain in the clubhouse after presentation.
The winner of the Division 1 72 hole championship is eligible to play in further events such as the WDLGA champion of champions and the NSW championship playoff.

Monthly medal winners may compete in the Medal of Medals round later in the year.

One single grade.
A maximum handicap of 45 will be applied to any player with a handicap greater than 45.
The winner will be determined on the players best 3 net rounds over the championship.
The winner will be determined on the players best 3 net rounds over the championship across all grades. If a tie the winner will be determined on a countback of last common round played.
