The historic Duntryleague guesthouse is situated in the botanical gardens setting of the Duntryleague’s prestigious 18 hole championship golf course. Built in 1876 for local businessman James Dalton, the building now offers 14 accommodation rooms, all with ensuite bathrooms.
Accommodation in this 19th century mansion is in four categories, from original master suites (Mansion rooms) to smaller guest suites (Standard rooms). All rooms are non-smoking rooms, and many are multi-bedded and suit the needs of families and groups. We also have rollaway beds and cots available on request.
Just outside of the Guesthouse you will find Margaret Dalton Lodge, a fully self-contained three bedroom flat, which is perfect for couples, groups and families.
All room rates (except for Margaret Lodge) include continental breakfast, although a cooked breakfast is available for an additional charge.
All guest rooms have ensuites, television, a small refridgerator, hairdryer, ironing board and iron, clock radio and tea/coffee making facilities.
Unfortunately, due to being heritage listed and the historic nature of Duntryleague, there is NO disabled access to the guesthouse. (This excludes Margaret Lodge which is on the ground floor adjacent to the main guesthouse). All other guest rooms involve climbing stairs, as we are not permitted to install an elevator.
Please also be mindful that as we are an older building, there may be the occasional creaky step or floorboard, but this is all apart of Duntryleague’s charm!
