'Pink Up' McGrath Foundation Fundraiser

We’re ‘Pinking Up’ the Foursomes Day to raise money for the McGrath Foundation and the wonderful work they do. This event is part of the City of Orange turning Pink in October for ‘Pink Up Your Town’ – a McGrath Foundation initiative.

How to participate?

To be involved in ‘Pink Up’ activities, you or your Foursomes partner only need to purchase a sleeve of three (3) Volvik Vivid Pink or Volvik S3 pink golf balls from us over the first 4 days of the tournament and play with those balls during the Foursomes. A sleeve costs $40 ($20pp) and gains you entry into all the additional Pink Ball events on the day. It also includes 2 raffle tickets for the ‘Pink Up’ raffle. All money raised from ‘Pinking Up’ is donated to the McGrath Foundation.

What if we don’t want to ‘Pink Up’

That’s ok, the regular Foursomes event is happening as usual. Participating in additional ‘Pink Up’ activities is completely optional. The regular Scratch and Net Foursomes trophies still apply. You’ll still be able to buy ‘Pink Up’ raffle tickets if you would like to support the McGrath Foundation in a smaller way.

Can we join in if we play with a pink ball we already have?

Sorry, no, the balls must be purchased from us during the tournament. We will record teams who are participating after they buy a sleeve of balls. This is because it is a fundraiser for the McGrath Foundation, and the sale of the balls is effectively your donation to the McGrath Foundation. Volvik has been extremely generous with their support of the day as well so we want to make sure all ‘Pink Up’ balls are Volvik.
