Hickory Stick

Some of the world’s best golfers have played at Duntryleague, many with hickory sticks.
Here is your chance to play our championship golf course, going back in time by using hickory sticks.
On Friday 27 th March, in conjunction with the Society of Hickory Golfers we are conducting a 9 hole 3-person ambrose event at Duntryleague.
The hickory clubs will be provided by the Society and each team of 3 will have theirown clubs.

Limited to 90 players it will be “first in best dressed”.

The program for the day will be:

• 1.30pm – Registration and handing out of Hickory Clubs in the Dalton Room and Deck.
• 2.00pm – Demonstration on playing with hickories
• 2.30pm – Shotgun Start – 3 person Ambrose on the front nine with each group sharing one set of clubs.
• 5.30pm – Canapes in the Dalton Room and Deck will feature local produce.
• 6.00pm – Brief talk on the development of Hickory Clubs and Presentations.
