November rain came in at 40mm (down from 105mm in October) so irrigation usage till the 27th November was approx 8 megalitres.
Throughout October and November, Grant and his small crew put in a massive effort to present our course not only to the many visitors but the NSW 2020 seniors championships and the Duntryleague Hahn Open tournament.
Our greens have received an excessive amount of wear and pitch marks, so if you could repair your own pitch mark plus another, as well as divot repairs on tees and fairways, that would be a big help.
Our fairways are now finally starting to thicken up, high soil temperatures and higher humidity and moisture are ideal growing conditions for couch grasses.
Our bores are now on, plus we had the water resource authority inspect them.
Our regular winter course management continues - a preventative spray program for winter fusarium and feeding and nitro-iron addition to greens to keep their colour over the cooler months.
Work continues on our bunkers - moving sand to playing areas, sodding entry and exit areas, cleaning pits and raking bunkers.
